From here everything goes on a downward spiral for the character, being hunted down, imprisoned and then having to team up with fellow outlaws to save the galaxy from certain destruction. Flash forward to present day showing what Quill (played by Chris Pratt) is up to nowadays, effectively Indiana Jones in space in a scene that clearly pays homage to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
